Introducing Better Batters
Better Batters, established in 2004, are manufactures of frozen batters
for supply to the catering and hospitality industries, retail outlets,
and for home use nationally in South Africa.
The Franchisor and Head Office is based in Hartebeestpoort, in the
North West Province. This factory services the
retail, catering and home industry markets nationally, with the exception
of the Western Cape, which is serviced by a
Franchised Factory based in Cape Town.
There are Franchised Distributors for the Eastern Cape and Kwazulu
Natal, with Gauteng, North West, Mpumalanga, Free State, Northern
Province and Northern Cape are Serviced by the Hartebeestpoort based
Factory.
Home-Based Distributors and Agents were the foundation to the
success of the Business, and remain the primary channel to market for our
range of products.
Large Retail Chains, Hospitality and Hotel Chains, as well as
Schools are supplied by the Factories directly, as well as the supply to
Agents in local areas throughout South Africa.

All franchises are SANHA (South African National Halaal Association) approved to ensure that the
Muslim community can purchase our products with confidence.
All Franchises comply with the Hygiene By-laws, good food
preparation procedures and pest control and have HACCP (Hazard Analysis
Critical Control Points) accreditation.
Better Batters is Level 4 BBBEE Accredited.
